The New Zealand Journal of Health and Safety Practice is delighted to announce its first edition will be published on 2 April 2024. We are making this call for submissions that meet our publishing objectives set out here. We will welcome submissions from a wide range of authors in New Zealand and beyond, often with no or minimal author processing charges.
The journal is open access, published online only and has no subscription charges. It will fill a gap between trade publications and long-established academic journals.
The founders and Editorial Board thank the initial journal funders and staff of Victoria University of Wellington Library who helped make the journal possible.
The New Zealand Journal of Health and Safety Practice is interested in receiving submissions about artificial intelligence (AI) and work health and safety.

We will welcome submissions about dealing with grief following the death of a worker as well as how businesses managed outcomes. We will also welcome submissions featuring success stories about the practice of workplace health and safety.
