The New Zealand Journal of Health and Safety Practice is delighted to announce its first edition will be published on 2 April 2024. We are making this call for submissions that meet our publishing objectives set out here. We will welcome submissions from a wide range of authors in New Zealand and beyond, often with no or minimal author processing charges.
The journal is open access, published online only and has no subscription charges. It will fill a gap between trade publications and long-established academic journals.
The founders and Editorial Board thank the initial journal funders and staff of Victoria University of Wellington Library who helped make the journal possible.
The third edition will carry abstracts and articles from the HASANZ Conference in September 2024, plus a special topic of the effects of dust on the health and safety of workers and general articles on work health and safety.
