This project, which began in 1976, consists of a series of interlinked, cross-cultural studies of the Multi-Cultural Workforce in Auckland. Whilst the 1976-78 part of the project concentrates solely on studying attitude and behaviour in manufacturing industry, this is planned to develop into the service sector in 1979. Furthermore, studies have been planned to investigate the effects in the Pacific Islands of the return to the labour force of their own people who have learned industrial skills in New Zealand.Downloads
