Author Biography

Philip Simpson

Philip Simpson is a Botanist in the Science and Research Division, Department of Conservation, Wellington. During 1996-97 he was a resident at the Stout Research Centre as the J.D. Stout Fellow, writing a book with the working title Dancing Leaves: The story of New Zealand's Cabbage Tree. His paper was presented in the Stout Research Centre seminar series 'Conservation in New Zealand', May 1996.
