Introduction

Abstract

Welcome everyone to a somewhat later than usual edition of Archifacts. Less an exercise in unforeseen publishing delays, more a deliberate strategy to ensure we captured the content presented as part of this year’s September ARANZ conference.

This is an issue of thank yous, goodbyes and welcomes. We have a number of long-standing editorial committee members handing over the reins and it’s vital to acknowledge their excellent work and their time given to Archifacts over the years. Firstly, a big thank you to our outgoing Editor – Gillian Oliver. Gillian’s editorial expertise, ability to bring together a wide range of content, make the difficult choice of colour for the cover each issue, and get the journal out in a timely fashion has been much appreciated; Gillian will stay on with us as an editorial committee member.
