Abstract

David Colquhoun, Curator of Manuscripts and Archives at the Alexander Turnbull Library for 25 years, and friend and help-mate to many, died suddenly in Masterton on 18 March 2018, aged 66. This obituary celebrates the life of Colquhoun, who was a close friend of the author since the pair's days studying post-graduate history at Auckland University.

David Grant

David Grant, Wellington-based historian, has been a friend of David Colquhoun for more than 40 years. His many books include most recently: The Mighty Totara: The Life and Times of Norman Kirk; A Question
