AAFJ Special Issue Workshop in French and English
We are pleased to announce the a workshop related to our special issue in the journal AAFJ entitled ” African critical studies perspectives on plural ecologies: implications for accounting and development in Africa."
Workshop date: June 5, 2025
Deadline for submission of extended abstracts (10 pages maximum, including references and appendices, with the following formatting: Times New Roman 12, 1.5 spacing): May 1, 2025

Below we provide a non-exhaustive list of relevant topics that would be considered for the special issue:
1- Organizational transition in a plurality of ecologies?
2- Efficient and rapid transition enabled by AI?
3– Market transition and the ‘visible hand’ on the Living?
4- “Accounts” narrative transition: Reporting, disclosure and sustainability
5- Transition in financing: value of information on sustainability
While this special issue is associated with the 8th edition of the LIGUE International Conference (LIC), scholars interested in contributing can still submit their research at the address indicated below. Submissions that provide theoretical insights, empirical evidence, and practical implications for policymakers, practitioners, and researchers, are encouraged. The deadline for paper submissions is 30 September 2025. The special issue’s publication is planned for early 2026.
