Author Biography

Lydia Wevers

Lydia Wevers is Director of the Stout Research Centre of New Zealand Studies, Victoria University of Wellington. Her most recent book, Country of Writing (2002), is an analysis of travel writing about New Zealand. ʻBeing Pakeha: The Politics of Locationʼ was presented at the ʻBiculturalism or Multiculturalism?ʼ conference, University of Canterbury, 2005.
